The Accent Group Limited operates over 700+ stores, 33 brands, and over 35 online platforms and holds exclusive distribution rights for 14 international brands across Australia and New Zealand. The Athlete’s Foot operates online and through 145 stores, franchised across Australia and New Zealand. TAF is Australia's largest specialty athletic footwear retailer, known for its exceptional in-store customer service experience and world-leading fitting technology, MyFit 3D, powered by Volumental.
The Challenge With TAF experiencing incredible growth, they wanted a fast and integrated technology to enhance their customer service experience. Fit was already a huge focus of their customer journey, and TAF needed a technology to complement their existing fitting process. |
The Solution The Athlete’s Foot decided to integrate Volumental's 3D in-store retail scanner into their fitting process to give the ability to digitize customer data collection with the primary goal to increase their MyFit Rewards membership base. The technology is easily integrated into TAF’s in-store fitting process. The 3D foot scans enhance the existing video gait analysis solution by providing staff tools to explain fit to consumers confidently. Every shopper who walks into a TAF store is offered to use the Volumental 3D foot scanner to help the customer understand which shoes will fit their feet best. TAF utilizes Volumental in all 145 retail stores in Australia and New Zealand. "TAF has had technology in their stores since 2000. We have always been centered around technology, but prior to working with Volumental, it's been a clunky journey,” Steve Cohen, TAF General Manager said. Since working with Volumental, our speed in which we work with technology has been lightning fast, and it has changed the way we go to market and we can quickly adapt now." |
